  • Overview

    Scoppechio is looking for an ongoing contract UX Designer to develop holistic design strategies rooted in research and interaction design principles.

     

    Aside from having a few years of relevant interaction design and research experience, applicants should exhibit strong communication and presentation skills, ideally reflected in a portfolio that showcases work and demonstrates process.

    Responsibilities

    ·         Create user-centered designs based on business objectives, team/client feedback and market research

    ·         Work with Solutions Analysts and Project Managers to meet deadlines

    ·         Produce documentation for the development team, and collaborate closely during a product build

    ·         Lead design reviews and audits

    ·         Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to validate design decisions

    ·         Create mock ups and style guides that jive with established branding, and present to key stakeholders

    ·         Build rapid prototypes that convey concepts to a team and to test validity of a proposed solution

    ·         Translate an approach into high fidelity designs with appropriate annotations

    ·         Visually communicate your process

    ·         Own projects from start to finish, reaching established milestones and meeting approved deadlines

    ·         Experience creating annotated wireframes and user flows

    Qualifications

    A strong candidate possesses

    ·         2-5 years of solid professional UX/interaction design experience (including freelance)

    ·         Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Digital Design or relevant fields

    ·         Mastery of design-related tools: Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and XD

    ·         Proficiency in presentation platforms: Microsoft and Google suites

    ·         Strong communication skills

    ·         A willingness to enhance and optimize experiences

    ·         A highly organized & detail orientated mindset

    ·         Knowledge on current design trends, usability heuristics, and accessibility guidelines 

    ·         A passion for the aesthetic nature of proposed solutions

    ·         Understanding of current development platforms and trends

    ·         A nagging curiosity for the emotional and physical influences that make humans do things

    ·         The ability to work on-site in our open environment office setting, at times

    ·         Thriving workflow in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
