    Civitas Marketing is looking for a Senior Creative Director responsible for developing strategic concepts, campaign themes, ideas, and visualizations that deliver on our clients’ business needs. This individual possess a shared talent for developing world-class creative on a foundation of their undying love for all things creative and experiential. You are born with a constant drive towards excellence.


    • Possesses superior ability to execute design and art direction across multiple platforms - props, print and web.
    • Helps lead efforts to develop creative concepts and executes within a cross-disciplinary team.
    • Works with Strategy and Account to develop strategic and creative approaches, then helps lead the creative process with Civitas leadership.
    • Helps set creative direction and provides hands-on guidance throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
    • Demonstrates a cohesive understanding of, and can execute on, the principles that lead to innovative, effective communications within digital and physical interaction design.
    • Leads by influence to consistently inspire creative colleagues to create world-class ideas that provide world-class solutions for our clients.
    • Generates and cultivates useful and usable ideas across existing and emerging digital platforms.
    • Continually develops new ways to inspire and harness creative thinking.
    • Develops solutions that have a positive impact on our clients’ businesses and a positive cultural impact for their communities.
    • Understands strategy and can articulate strategies to both peers and clients.
    • Takes personal responsibility for on-time, expertly crafted ideas and deliverables; the term “late” isn’t in your vernacular.
    • Has the ability to lead a team of three to six creatives on an ongoing basis.
    • Supports Civitas leadership on new business and special projects, including relationship development and presentations.
    • Proactively researches and pursues ideas for professional development.
    • Training and management of all levels of creative talent, helping develop their skills and performance.
    • Acts as a career manager and is responsible for providing annual reviews, onboarding new employees, and coaching for both soft and hard skills.


    • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in creative direction or design, within an agency.
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Embodies professionalism and demonstrates mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationships.
    • Well-versed in communicating vision, setting creative direction, and managing a group of cross-disciplinary teams.
    • A thorough understanding of experiential media and an ability and desire to adapt with the changing landscape of technology.
    • A proficiency in 3D modeling softwares are a plus.
